Idea to Innovation (i2i) course at Cranfield University, School of Management

The Dream students are at Cranfield University this week in the School of Management, undertaking the ‘Idea to Innovation’, or ‘i2i’ course, being run by the staff of the Cranfield Bettany Centre for Entrepreneurship. Following a consideration as to the common questions in commercialisation of science and technology, i2i explores ways of developing research for impact, helping students acquire the skills needed to make the journey from research to social and economic impact and ways to turn research and learning into new venture opportunities. The course considers commercialising research and developing employability, helping students build confidence, skills and networks to help make a difference. The course also offers the opportunity to meet like-minded researchers, entrepreneurs and experts from multiple disciplines and backgrounds, and to create a pathway to clearly identify the impact of the Dream research.
